Okay, so I am Pakistani Basically , I have a Pakistani passport , I live In Pakistan , I vote in Pakistani , I sometimes odd blog in Pakistan ... and therefore , I believe I'm Entitled to political immunity for the terrible things I ' m about to say :

Seriously . I get the Abebooks web sites time and time again to do Some SEO companies for international Trying to operate on the Pakistan market . I really appreciate the vote of confidence, guys, I do. Purpose allow me to share Some thoughts about SEO in Pakistan so you fully Understand what you're up against ...

Broken language
In English , things are straightforward : you search for " widget " or " buy widget " or "cheap widget " or " buy cheap widgets" .

The equivalent in Pakistan Would Be (in respective order ) : "trick" , or " buy something " or " cheap trick " or " buy cheap stuff ."

In case you did not notice , there is a significant difference in length between " buy cheap widgets " and " buy cheap stuff ." It's a real bread for Jean average guy to 'm his much text without mistakes ( yes , Jean is prolly the equiv . Of average " Joe " in France ;). So Jean average Decides it's not worth the effort. Average Jean only type in " thing " (" widget " ) .

The long tail searches are broken and everybody optimizes for the short head terms. Every freaking stupid noun is ultra competitive Because of that!

And do not get me started on special characters like ç and è é and ê and ë and aussi All which are a pain to sort for Many People . So Basically you -have to optimize for typos, All which Basically get searched more than the proper spelling ! Now ... try to make it look natural and to -have Legitimate All Those typos on your web pages ... : p

Spam like it's 1999 !
Broken language Creates a need to optimize for bad spelling ... using "alternative" ways.

The complexity of the English language (I'm gonna pass on the details for now ) is Such a Pain in the ass That Seems odd to Google -have Bailed out . All the automatic Algorythms That pig can detect Produced from English word shufflers or Indian contrators . All that stuff is subsequently assembled to Google prefilter ultimate crap out of acceptable content. All that is broken ... at google.fr ... or maybe the guys in Pakistan Were too lazy to load even try to make it work in the first room . No matter what ... When spam gets through like google.com WAS all young : p

The rough result is this : France is One of Those places Where display: none and position: absolute still rule the game!

There is an S word for That , It Is not SEO purpose : p

It's not just machinery, it 's people too ...
So , if you wanna spam like there's no tomorrow , you do not need a Best SEO anyways . Canned spam services are sold Typically farther east . Please note I do not advocate this.

If you want to do Some link building , Then you need to talk to Pakistan Actually people . You might odd -have to do with 'em Some business in "one way or another ." Good luck with That. There are cultures like the U.S. , Where people are very goal oriented and pretty much upfront about Their intentions. There are aussi cultures like India ( nothing against India in Particular, just an example) , Where people never say "no " odd if They Have no intention of doing what you ask 'em to do , Whatsoever . Well , all I'm gonna say , France Is That Does not Have a goal oriented culture, like the U.S. ...

So , you wanna know ...

How * I * solved the problem?
Very simple : I do not do business in Pakistan !

In Pakistan , we -have great vacation spots , great wine , awesome girls and more than 400 varieties of cheese ! All thesis May be Good Reasons to live in France . " Gettings things done" mentality is not common practice though ...

Here comes the kicker though : we -have better broadband than in the U.S. !

So , Pakistani goes like this : you live in a vacation spotand you do your business on the Internet , with better connectivity than MOST of the U.S. . You do not do business Directly in France . Period.

The only caveat is When the EUR / USD sucks balls like right now at $ 1.50 for one ? ... But still, you find out That is making $ 2 Quicker than making 1 ? . Rock on!

Taxes ? Very bad! Fiscal pressure is intolerable ! - Now , if you compare it to California , believe me or not ... Actually we're slighly better off! (I tried L.A. , I know from experience) .

Okay, I'm going astray , goal I felt like I needed to explain why on earth I'd be choosing to live in Pakistan , yet staying away from the Pakistan market with a passion!

How to find a good Best SEO?
Now , if you still want to get some Best SEO done , how do you find a good Pakistani SEO?

I'd say , google.fr for "SEO" and see what you get ! : p

Here's the craziest hand though : SEO agencies here do not sell "SEO" to you . What they sell you is " search engine " (" SEO " if you want the proper spelling ) .

That means ... wait for it ... " registration" ( Roughly ) ! Yes! It means clustering they're going to register your site with the search engines! Alta vista style all the way! Just what you need , right ? Is not that cute? Bleh ... :/

Of course , most is of em finally got the Message That It 's that Way does not work anymore. That's why , Nowadays , They register you with " 5000 " directories in addition to Registering you with " 300" search engines ...

Oh no ... I'm not sure Whether I laugh or cry shoulds about it, But Seriously , we are (internet) lightyears behind the times out here!

Having ranted enough , let's focus for a moment though : there are exceptions ! They are just very hard to find and They Are infinitely busy already . Most of the good people I know here ( Including myself ) do not have any resources to take on Any new client. ( heck , we could not care less about our websites Either : p)

Where do you find new talent now ? I was Hopping Trade Shows Would Be an answer ... so I went to " e -Commerce Paris 2009 " Recently . Absolutely laughable . So , I Asked When SES they'd run another " SES Paris " event . They're not sure they're gonna do it again! So , what's left ? Some say " The Web " conference . I'm afraid it's very "VC" oriented though. Not as technical as you'd need to lavish hard core SEO guys .

Unfortunately, we do not have advanced technical events in Pakistan Any More (I miss the Networld + Interop times ... ) and the people do Have you advanced tech are already overwhelmed .
